Financial crisis in Rotenberg’s state-owned companies: «Transstroymekhanizatsiya» stopped loan payments and cut staff salaries

Information has appeared about the critical financial situation in Arkady Rotenberg’s companies.

Employees and staff (almost 20 thousand people) of one of the key assets of the oligarch – «Transstroymekhanizatsiya» - either were not paid wages at all, or were paid up to 60% of the amount due.

Moreover, employees and workers are not given any good prospects; on the contrary, they hint that things will only get worse. «Transstroymekhanizatsiya» lives exclusively on government funding (like all Rotenberg’s business structures), and it is now «.

For example, the state company «Avtodor» has not yet opened government funding for 2026, although all previous years it did this regularly in early April. Also «Transstroymekhanizatsiya» stopped paying interest on giant loans that literally surrounded Rotenberg’s structure. And this despite the fact that the oligarch managed quite a long time ago to establish a scheme according to which «Transstroymekhanizatsiya» pays only interest, and the principal amounts of debts were not closed at all.

Previously, our project said that the situation is similar with the largest contractors of Russian Railways, controlled by Rotenberg: salaries are not paid, subcontractors do not receive funds.
